About
Our teachers/facilitators use both concrete teaching materials and a well-defined innovative curriculum tailored to the child, and through each three-year cycle from the Early Years program through both levels of the Elementary program. The teacher/facilitator in Buoyant Montessori School is responsible for preparing the educational environment within each classroom and for presenting lessons in that environment.
The teachers recognize that children have an inner motivation to teach themselves and through careful observation they know the developmental needs of each child. They task is then to link the child to the various activities in the specially prepared environment, observing their responses and supporting them whenever needed. All the teachers participate in regular professional development, attending workshops, seminars and courses.

Aprinoet Selfani, S.Pd
Aprinoet has been working with children for over 7 years, especially for Lower Elementary . Now, she is headmaster of Buoyant Montessori School. Aprinoet started her carrer in teaching on 2010. She joined Childern Community in her church as English teacher for beginner and an adult. She has been working as Senior Management Teacher in Kupang Montessori School for 6 years. She joined with Buoyant Montessori School since 2019 when the school founded. Her hobbies are motor sport, self defense and dancing.

Sintje Melinda Natalia Kefi, S.Pd
Litta has been working with children more than 3 years and has been with Buoyant Montessori School since 2019 when the school founded. After has more than 1 year experience working as a kindergarten teacher in Christian National Plus Kasih Agape Kindergarten in East Sumba, she moved to Kupang and built her career as Montessori teacher with Buoyant Montessori School. She is continually expand her knowledge in Montessori education through reading and joined some training. She is energetic and caring teacher. Her hobby are singing, cooking and gardening.

Intan Jilyani Norvita Ndolu, S.Pd
Intan is a kindly teacher who has over 8 years’ experience in teaching early childhood. She started her career in Buoyant Montessori School since this school was founded in May 2019. She got her Montessori training to develop her knowledge about Montessori and joined some parenting seminars. She likes cooking and singing!

She Starts her career as an early childhood assistant and has been with Buoyant Montessori School since September 2019. She graduated from early childhood education of Nusa Cendana University in 2019. She was a fresh graduate when joined in Buoyant Montessori School. Dancing and reading are her hobbies.

Pratama Sari, S.Pd
Sari joined Buoyant Montessori School in April 2020 as a teacher’s assistant of Early years in Planet Class. She prefers to join early years because her passion is working with children. She has a Bachelor Degree of English Education. She is a mother of three children.

Anita Elisabeth Sanam, S.Pd
Anita began to teach in an isolated region of South Central Timor for three years. She was Delighted to see her students smarter and success. She loves children so much, Buoyant Montessori School is the answer, and it is a new challenge for her. Therefore, she will try her best to learn while doing. She starts as an early Childhood assistant in June 2020.

Fenny H. Walu Wanja, S.Pd
Fenny Wanja started her carrier working since 2018. She worked as a teacher for early childhood in kupang regency from 2018 to 2020. She joins to Buoyant Montessori School as a Toddler Assistant. She is in the process of getting her Montessori training in Buoyant Montessori School. She really likes traditional dance and swimming, she loves spending her time with the children and playing with them at home. Outside of teaching as a teacher, she always travels to the beautiful place with her friends.

Geovanina Givens Da Silva, S.Pd
She graduated from Teacher training and Educational Science Faculty of of Widya Mandira University Kupang in 2014. After graduating, she started to teach in Stikes CHMK Kupang as an English Tutor for 3 years. When she followed one of parenting training she realized that teaching kids is a very great job then she decided to join Buoyant Montessori School since it’s founded in May, 2019. She is an elementary directress of Buoyant Montessori School. She increases and develops her knowledge about Montessori Method trough the Montessori training that she gets.

Randy Erwinton
Randy has been exposed with children world for 5 years since he joined with his Sunday school church community. Interested on children’s world makes he continues his study in faculty of teacher training and education science at Nusa Cendana University. From his experience as teacher assistance in Montessori school makes him more excited about Montessori. He joined with Buoyant Montessori School for develop himself through Montessori Method which provide children with the real and essential learning experience.

Erni Meliati Hari Lay, S.Pd
Erni Meliati Hari Lay is a fresh graduated of English department in 2019 at the Cristian Artha Wacana University Kupang. She started her first job at Buoyant Montessori School in January 2020 as a lower class teacher assistant. Erni was attracted by the Montessori methods of learning because it used Montessori tools that made kids quickly absorb learning. She is currently still in the Buoyant Montessori school to educate kids with the knowledge that she has and give compassion and attention to kids.

Gaudensia Anggar, S.Pd
Desy Anggar has been working as a teacher for 3 years. She spent 2 years on teaching ACCESS Program for senior high school students at Widya Mandira Catholic University as a Teacher Assistant. Then, she taught 1 year to teach children at Hand Fortuna Centre as an English Instructor. Her bachelor’s degree was completed on Teacher Training and Educational Science Faculty, especially on English Department at Widya Mandira Catholic University Kupang in 2016. Desy is passionate about children and excited to teach children. She really likes children. She joined to Buoyant Montessori School as a teacher assistant after she was interested in Montessori methods which gave more priority to the children. Furthermore, it’s a specific child-centered method of education and the children can choose what they are going to learn.

Getreda Apricorins Buitbesi, S.Pd
Getreda Apricorins Buitbesi is Fresh graduate of Mathematic Education in 2019 at the Catholic University of Widya Mandira Kupang. She started her first job at Buoyant Montessori School in February 2020 as Lower Class assistant Teacher. She likes children because each child has a different character and it challenges her to teach them. She did teaching practice in junior high school and that was her first experience in teaching. She is also good in drawing. The Montessori Method of learning attracted her because in Montessori used the tools that made children quickly absorb learning. She is currently still in Buoyant Montessori School.

Novita Scolastica Amsikan graduated from Faculty of Public Health at Nusa Cendana University in 2019. She decided to be a teacher because she would like to share her knowledge and had more experiences on teaching children. She loved to learn and played with children.She joined to Buoyant Monterssori School because she was interested on Montessori methods , which taught children to be independent and developed their abilities. Moreover, the children could learn to respect the environment around them. Novita Scolastica Amsikan joined to Buoyant Montessori School in April 2020 as a teacher assistant of lower class.

Fang first became interested in Education while studying education program in college. Fang started teaching as a Teacher in Hand Fortuna Center, He started as a teacher for the adults Class. By his third months, he started taking courses to become a Children teacher and also housewife program in early morning. In the following months, he opened up the English class for Pension Fund of NTT Bank. Fang recently became an Upper assistant Teacher for Buoyant Montessori School.
Fang has a passion for the outdoors, and loves to go hiking and skateboarding as well as playing basketball. He also loves to Playing game.

Rita Sweetyana Blegur graduated from English department of Nusa Cendana University in 2019 and started to apply for job at BUOYANT MONTESSORI SCHOOL as an assistant teacher. She decided to teach in buoyant montessori because she is interested in teaching kids, loves kids, and loves to be surounded by kids. She also interested with the montessori method which apply in Buoyant Montessori School. She has been working at buoyant montessori school as a teacher assistant since january 2020.

Desi Seniowati Boimata
Desi comes to Buoyant Montessori as Early childhood assistant in 2020. She is In the process of getting her Montessori training. Prior to start at Buoyant Montessori School, she ever worked in Kupang Montessori School as a teacher assistant about four months in 2018 and she has experience being a Sunday school teacher since 2013 in her church. Outside the classroom, she enjoyed her time with her hobby like playing futsal. She comes from a big family and has five sister and one brother. She has many cousins. She loves to spend her quality time with the children around and especially enjoy her hobby. Desi still waiting for her graduation because she just finished her study from English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University.

Basten is a photographer n video creator who has joined in BMS since july 2020 as a multimedia admin. He finished his bachelor of communication science in Christian Satya Wacana University in salatiga – jawa tengah on 2018. He is eager to share his experience and improve the quality of BMS multimedia. Besides as a photographer n video creator, he is a dancer too.

Gregorio Antonny Bani
Tony joined Buoyant Montessori School in June 2020 as a teacher of Junior High Schoolalso the coordinator of adolescent Program. He prefers to join Junior High School because his passion to teachchildren. He got Bachelor Degree of Chemistry at Widaya Mandira University and continued to get Magister Degree of Environmeantal Science at Nusa Cendana university. After completing the masgister, he started to teach as a lecturer in San Pedro university for one year. Then, he moved to Arsatya Deo Muri University for two years. Now, he teaches in Buoyant Montessori School because he is interested with the teaching method and the curricullum. He states the method that used in Buoyant Montessori School is effective for students in teaching and learning process because it is more focused on the children characters and skills.
